Eligibility

You are enrolled at a university or education provider with a planned internship period within your studies.

You are eligible to work in Canada without an additional visa or relocation support.
Responsibility

Storyboard Artist Intern Responsibilities

You will create storyboards that clearly communicate narrative, pacing, and shot composition
-
You will translate scripts, concepts, and creative direction into visual sequences
-
You will collaborate with directors, writers, and production teams to support storytelling goals
-
You will revise and refine storyboard panels based on feedback and project needs
-
You will ensure visual continuity, clarity of action, and consistency in staging
-
You will assist with brainstorming and visual development for scenes and sequences
-
You will support animatics or layout preparation when required
Qualifications

Basic understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and shot continuity

Ability to create clear and readable storyboards from scripts or concepts

Fundamental drawing skills, including character posing and perspective
-
Familiarity with storyboard or illustration software (e.g., Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or similar)

Willingness to accept feedback and revise work based on direction

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to communicate ideas visually and collaborate with team members

Interest in animation, film, or game storytelling

Portfolio demonstrating storytelling, sequential art, or storyboard samples
